Gastrocnemius Muscle

Last week and the rest of this week are the busiest weeks of my life! We got a volunteer group of high schoolers from Fort-worth, Texas (LCCS= school name) and we're getting another group from Keller Baptist church from Texas as well tomorrow. So we've been busy planning orientations, English "talleres" and big overnight English weekends... busy busy busy.

Anywhoo, I've been having this really bad foot pain since about 3 weeks ago. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and they took xrays and said there was no sprains or tears in the muscle/bone or whatever and said that if the pain persists to come back because the pain is in the Achilles tendon area. So I've kept on living my daily life... and the pain continued :(

My mom told me that I should go to a podiatrist to get a better diagnosis because after all their specialty is foot stuff. I just got back from my appointment... I had self-diagnosed myself doing some research on webmd and other websites like that and thought I had ACHILLES TENDONITIS which would be really bad :( But I DON'T so I guess it's good!!! BUT they doctor said I have something similar in which my gastrocnemius muscle is causing the pain.... I have to go back in 2 weeks for a follow-up as well as further treatment discussions... the doctor said that I might have to start orthopedic treatment...

Please pray that my foot problems go away and that I don't need orthopedic treatments... I can't start training for the "camino" until after my 2nd visit in 2 weeks! And if he says I can't do the "camino" I AM GOING TO CRY!!!!
