The luck of the Rubbish Bahn Pt. 2--Fussen Edition

Ok, so last time you found out that my friends and I had a mishap with the metro... but good thing that now we know that one of the metro lines that go to the airport split so we have to be at the right end of the metro!

So this time, our story begins with the Neuschwanstein Castle (aka the castle that inspired Disney for the Cinderella Castle). I gotta say, going there made me feel like a princess! It was really beautiful, but the tour for the castle, was, well... no comment. I think our tour guide spoke about 5 words per minute and kinds sucked out all the enchantment of the castle.

Anywhoo, so my friends and I had a great time at the castle and it was time to go home. So we have about 30 minutes for the train to leave Fussen back to the Munich area. It was dinner time (well in Germany) so we all decided to get something to eat before going to the train station. Thinking, in our minds that we would make it one time, we then proceeded at this kabob/pizza place to get our meals. Jnet and I got our kebob's and went ahead to the train station while princess J and Szn were waiting for their meals. You see, Germans are known for their efficiency... but after this trip to Germany, I don't know about that.

The train ended up leaving about 5 minutes early and we missed it. Yup, we missed the train. And the next train didn't come for about 1.5 hours... Yup. We were stranded out in the middle of Fussen... just like at Moosak. Something about the Munich railway system and us didn't click. The funny thing was to watch the train leave, EARLY, and our friends running for their lives to catch the train... We would've totally made the train if it hadn't left early... but oh well....

So yet get again, the luck of the Rubbish-bahn followed us to Fussen...

Next in the line-up: Dachau/AGM/Camino de Santiago

Hope you enjoyed reading the first of the series of unfortunate events~ More to come... more to come...

P.S. It was about midnight when we arrived back at the hotel. On the way to the hotel, we were once again in the splitting metro ride... We were in the wrong cart, and we knew what to do and when to do it. So as soon as the metro stopped we jumped out and jumped back in on the right half of the cart. People well of course, looking at us like we were crazy.... And then we come to learn that the metro doesn't split till like the last 5 or 10 minutes of the ride -_-
