13 Hours

What am I doing still up? Well, last night I had 13 hours of sleep. It was the best thing ever. Today my eyes automatically opened at 8AM today (ugh) and being the weekend, I made myself go back to sleep. At 9:30AM my eyes opened again, and knowing that we had a volleyball game at 10AM, I made myself snooze till 9:45AM so I could just brush my teeth, wash my face, and dress up to go. However, I snoozed till 12:30PM! Oops. But, WE won! :) Honestly, I haven't slept this much since summer when I didn't have to do SPOP and just bummed it at home. But yea, so I totally missed lunch (which I'm not even sad about because I heard it was corn dogs, AGAIN!)... instead I ate some rice, kimchi and seaweed because I was craving Korean stuff... too bad I didn't have some bul-go-gi to go with it. I was eating it in my room because I didn't want to stink up the hall, I opened both my windows, I ate in the freezing cold and still, the powerful smell of the kimchi made it's way down the hallway into the lobby.... -_- Next time I'll just eat it with the windows closed, because that "eating in the cold" sacrifice was useless!

So what did I do today? The farm gets very very boring during the weekends, I guess it's boring during the week too, but the fact that we have session all day long kind of makes it somewhat less "boring"...NOT! However, us girls had planned to go out since earlier this week. So we did go out! Every time I go out to civilization I feel FREE even though it's just Shortpump. We ate non-cafeteria food, went shopping and got some bombdiggity cheesecake that I was craving for 2 weeks now from cheesecake factory. Bought me some jeans to replace the one that I accidentally ripped while stretching them to to de-tight-ify them. Yes, embarrassing... so either that proves that I gained weight or I just stretched a little to far to the left! I go with option #2 because my jeans aren't tight around the waist I just have mad stretching abilities! The other sad thing is that I went working out the previous day, so I should've lost poundage and not gained some!

Hmmm... life at the farm is so "interesting" that the "it" thing to do is quilting. Everybody and their mom's are quilting now. Today was the last day to start so it's been pretty busy up in the quilting quad. Me quilt? Yeah right... haha Well, actually I did make a quilt, and a bag, and now I'm in the process of making my 2nd quilt! Who would've imagined me quilting, now you can see how life at the farm is that it made me want to quilt. But honestly, I've gotta say that quilting is pretty fun. I don't know how those ladies put up with us all day and night and teach us all the steps. They are like the most patient ladies I've ever met. If it were me, I would've probably been sent to member care for smacking someone on their face with the bulks of fabric that they've got over there. Seriously... -_- But quilting has helped me relax and just clear up my mind from all the stress and all the jambalaya of thoughts going in my head at the moment. I just put my earphones on, listen to some good music, and quilt away :) I will post up pictures of my quilts and bag when I finish my 2nd quilt! Plus, I forgot to bring my USB cord for my camera, so I have to borrow it from Capa Gauss, I would put up pictures from what I've made so far, but it's 2AM and I think I would be mad if someone came knocking on my door just to ask to borrow a USB cord, so yea...

Ok 2AM, I should try and go sleep because I won't be able to get 13 hours of sleep tonight :/
