It's been a week and two days since I've been in VA, I've learned a lot in the sessions we have and also been growing closer to God on my time here. I feel like I'm back at school. We pretty much have lectures 8-3PM, HW, reading to do and also lots of other things... I know I've been saying that I wanted to go back to school pretty much after graduation, and I guess I got my wish back... but not in the way I wanted it to be. Oh well.
But I still miss home, my family and my friends. It's hard adjusting to the people and culture out here. Who knew it would be so different. I miss UCI so much... But I guess that we all have to move on at some point, and it's my turn right now.
On a brighter note. I got the package my mom sent me filled with ramen, rice (microwavable), seaweed, korean candy and cookies, even instant udon, and last but definitely not the least KIMCHI!!!!! :) She's the best. So I decided to eat some udon today instead of the cafeteria food with some kimchi, and it was such a great meal. Who knew kimchi tasted this good. Though I did stink up my room and hallway. Oh well, it was the best meal I've had here so far lol. So now I'm sitting cold in my room because I'm trying to air out the smell.
6.5 weeks and counting...
