It's day 3 over here in Virginia.
I'm loving the weather.
Training is pretty boring, a lot of info. But stuff we need to know... and the speakers spit some jokes here and there so I guess it's not that bad.
By the 8:30PM I'm like pretty tired, so I'm surprised I'm not that tired right now, I think it's because I played soccer today, so all that running gave me some adrenaline. I've been going to sleep @ 9PM these past 2 nights! I feel like a grandma!
Since all my interview conference friends went to the August training, I'm pretty much friendless and this makes me feel like I'm in college all over again and trying to make friends, only that it's really hard and I don't know why. At least my roommate from conference is here, so I've been hanging out with her most of the time. But meh, the reason why I am here is to do God's work so I guess having friends is not the important thing right now.
I can't wait to go to Spain. Training just excites me more and more.
I can't believe that in like 3 months, I will be in Spain! Woo hoo!
But I actually do miss home. If I'm missing home while being here in Virginia for 2 months, and this being only my 3rd day, I can only imagine how it'll be when I'm off to Spain. I miss Korean food, Mexican food, boba, Banana Bay, and of course, TV! lol But I guess this is training me. It gets kinda lonely up in here but it gives me more time to reflect and see what God's got for me.
During the first training session, they talked about writing wills and it hecka scared me. Though I won't be going to a bad area, there are constant terrorist activities by ETA in the area I'm going, so pray that nothing will happen to me while I'm over there. I'm just going to make sure I don't go on the subways, and I guess I'll be riding a bike! lol
Hmmm, 7 more weeks.
Pray for me :)
