In a matter of hours...

So, I'm sitting at the Madrid airport right now waiting for my flight which will leave in about 2 hours. Surprisingly the line to check bags was non-existent and like always my Bolivian passport creates conversations with the people who check me in. This time around, the lady next to the person checking me in flagged me down and asked me about my Bolivian passport and Korean heritage and wanted me to explain everything.

2 bags checked. One was EXACTLY 50lbs and the other was 35kg which is about 77 lbs. I tried not to get a 3rd bag in because then I'd have to deal with it in DC and yea. It would've been same price with the 3rd bag too but meh, I don't want my arms to hurt more and worry about my bags falling down of the cart when I push it.

So far I'm safe and sound. I can see the airplane getting ready and loading up the nasty food that they are going to serve us. I'm anxious to know who will be sitting next to me. I'm begging it's not this old man sitting next to me right now in the waiting area. He just cut all his finger and toe nails right there and his nasty nail clippings are just sitting on the floor. Ewe double ewe. I hope it's someone cool and cool enough to wake me up while I'm sleeping when it's food time. I hope though, it's not someone who talks a lot because I'm ready to pass out right now.

My mission to stay up all night was successful. Quite hard but I did it. Saying goodbye to the roomies was another story. It was very sad. It hasn't hit me yet that I'm leaving. I feel like I'm just going on another vacation and that I'll be seeing them within a week. I'm glad they didn't come to the airport. I am not very good and goodbyes. But I will miss them dearly.

Hmmmm I wonder what the food will be like. Aer Lingus... Seriously, I'm flying Aer Lingus to the states... I guess they have a joint thing with United airlines, but I thought Aer Lingus only flew to Ireland.

Well, it was a blessing serving our big homie G for 2 years. I pray for everyone returning home within the next couple weeks, and I pray specially for all the career people. I will miss everyone and their kids greatly.

The chongespace blog will still be updated so stay tuned.

Peace and Love.
God Bless.
Over and out.
