However, the audio went bonkers again a couple of weeks ago. So I took it in and explained the Apple dude the problem, and he remembered me from last year. He told me that he'd replace my logic board and they also replaced my keyboard again because the mouse was acting up. I also found out that Apple will forever replace the top case (keyboard+white rim around the screen) even though the Apple care plan expires because they said it's a company mistake so yea, hope it's true :D
Getting to my story, I thought it was amazing how kind the people at the Apple store were! I totally forgot what costumer service was after living abroad for more than a year. Seriously, costumer service is non-existent over here. I even got text messages from the Apple dudes telling me when to come in to drop off/pick up my laptop so I wouldn't have to come in and find it that they weren't done fixing it.
Oh costumer service... I used to get so annoyed in the states when every other minute someone asked if I needed help/assistance, and now that I don't get any attention, I miss it.
Isn't it weird you miss the randomest things when you live abroad?
Here's some things I randomly miss:
-Costumer service
-Refills or just non-mini size drinks lol
-People that are friendly/smile back
-Big Malls
-Outlet malls
-24 hour stores/drive thrus
-Warm weather, even in the winter
-Different flavored potato chips (especially: sweet hawaiian onion!)
-Flavor/spices in the food
-International food/merchandise
-Smoothie/boba/fro yo
-Borders/Barnes and Nobles/Starbucks/Coffee bean... somewhere with COUCHES that you can sit and chill
-Sales, not only in Jan/July

This makes me smile :-)
ohhhh...I miss those things too, especially customer service or people just trying to make things right for you. And logic. I miss things making sense.
